Catching Up

I feel like summer should just be starting, not fall. This summer our family moved. It was sort of an unexpected move. We like to look at open houses and we walked through a house that just felt right. The layout addressed much of what our old house struggled with and despite the fact that we just remodeled our kitchen in the old house we felt like it was going to be a good move for our family. It is not far from the other house,  just about a mile. But moving still a huge process especially while taking care of two kids and running a business. I took off some time and appreciate my clients who patiently waited while everything took a lot longer than usual. We are now settled, my new home for Amy Jester is unpacked and I feel like my kids starting a new school year.

However, I am behind on blogging. But I want to give my summer sessions their moment in the spotlight. To today I start catching up and I give you a session from a very buggy night in July. It was nice to get to meet the younger sibling of one of the senior portrait clients. I also got a few of these guys together and with their wonderful mom.
